With persistence, this timeless treasure and design was finally written down in my hand. I am self taught, and full of imagination.  crocheting each stitch to feel and see what patterns they make. Sometimes the yarn will tell me what it wants to do. I suppose they call it " freestyle". After a bit of practice, and honing the skills to making these comfies, I wrote down my pattern. They have become a favorite accessory among many clients. you can't own just one pair. great for all seasons, as they are made of a soft light cotton. Wash in mesh bag on delicate cycle warm/cold. 
Will shrink in dryer. Leave in mess bag, tumble dry on low heat til damp. Then flat dry rest of way.
