100% cotton and is washable. Machine was in a delicates laundry bag on warm/cold temp. Delicates cycle. Tumble dry delicates on damp and line dry the rest of way. If you find that hat fits loose after wearing , you can tumble dry all the way on a delicates temp with no line dry. Will shrink back to size.
